Khayyam International Festival of Invention and Innovation

The Khayyam International Festival of Invention and Innovation is scheduled to be held from March 6 to 8, 2020, at Isfahan University of Technology in Iran, with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO — the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

The Khayyam International Festival of Invention and Innovation is scheduled to be held from March 6 to 8, 2020, at Isfahan University of Technology in Iran, with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO — the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

Mehdi Hosseinian Sarajehloo, a member of the National Committee on Social Transformations of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO and a member of the Policy Council of the Khayyam International Festival of Invention and Innovation, spoke to the science and university correspondent of Fars News Agency about the support of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO for the festival.

He stated:

In line with its mission to support the development of inventors, innovators, and researchers of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Khayyam International Festival has placed cooperation on its agenda in accordance with the first article of UNESCO’s Constitution. This cooperation aims to contribute to peace and security by promoting collaboration among nations in the fields of education, science, and culture, while strengthening universal respect for justice, the rule of law, human rights, and fundamental freedoms for all, without distinction of race, gender, language, or religion, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.

Hosseinian added:

In line with the goal of contributing to peace and security through the promotion of cooperation, inventors and innovators from 27 countries have been invited to participate and register for the festival in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Mehdi Hosseinian Sarajehloo had previously received a certificate of appreciation from the International Association of Advanced Innovation and Skills in Toronto, Canada, as well as from the Inventors Association of Türkiye, for his support of the national invention and innovation festival “One Idea, One World.”

Inventors, innovators, and researchers from Iran can take advantage of this opportunity to register their projects in the fields of ideas, inventions, and innovation through the festival website at www.khayyamfestival.com by January 31, 2020.

The festival will be held from March 6 to 8, 2020, at Isfahan University of Technology, with the participation of international representatives as well as senior national and military officials
